Daniel was born in the small town of Hines Creek where he was raised in the country. At an early age he loved two things: all things outdoors, and building. He decided at a young age that he wanted to be a Carpenter and after graduating he pursued that goal.

He has been in the home building industry for 15 years now. He worked for framing crews, and the reputable Grande Prairie home builder Harder Builders where he was involved in all areas of the home building process from cribbing and pouring foundations, to framing, to flooring and tile work. Once he received his Red Seal Journeyman certificate he started his own building company and operated that for the last 7 years. He worked for many homeowners doing custom projects and renovations and other established builders like Dueck Brothers. Alongside projects for other people he built two houses for him and his wife and also renovated a flip house.
Throughout the years friends and family would tell Daniel the horror stories of their home inspections. About home inspectors who, unfortunately, just didn’t have the experience to know what they were looking at. That turned into friends and family asking Daniel to weigh in on potential properties and issues they had. He assured them of their home and tried to ease concerns and offer solutions.
After 15 years of intense manual labor as a Carpenter, Daniel decided it was time for a change! Because he has already been helping friends and family out for years, being a Grande Prairie Home Inspector was a natural transition. He is happy he gets to continue working with homeowners and a high point is getting to educate them on the home they’re buying. It’s a buyers choice who they’ll use, but when you choose Expert Home Inspections you’re choosing peace of mind.
Just like when he was a kid, Daniel still spends all of his time (outside of work) outdoors. He enjoys hunting, hiking, backpacking trips, shooting his bow, fishing, and gardening.
